Mr Kotia Sylvester is a student of M.Sc. 2 of mycology in the Department of Plant Sciences, Faculty of Science in the University of Bamenda, Cameroon. He has a degree in Botany from the University of Bamenda and a DIPES I in Biology from H.T.T.C. Bambili, University of Bamenda. He is currently a Biology teacher of Government Bilingual High School Mbveh Kumbo sub-division, Bui division, North West region, Cameroon. He is a member of Natural Science Teachers Association (NASTA) North West region Cameroon.
He has done research on Effects of Substrates on the Growth and Yield of Pleurotus ostreatus in Bambili under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tonjock Rosemary Kinge (Associate Professor) in 2022. Kotia is currently a Master’s 2 student in the University of Bamenda doing research in mycology on Fungi and defended a research proposal Titled: Cultural Variability, Diversity and Control of Fungal Species of commonly cultivated vegetables and postharvest Challenges Faced by Farmers in Bamenda, North West Region Cameroon under the supervision of Prof. Dr. TONJOCK ROSEMARY KINGE (Associate Professor).
